Hello there and welcome to Day 3 of this online training course!

During the first and second days of this training course, not only did I introduce you to myself, but I also introduced to the most basic concepts of Internet Marketing. During these two days you were able to sign up to Wealthy Affiliate, one of the largest affiliate marketing communities available today and were able to take a look around to see what is exactly offered to online affiliates today.

In today’s lesson, however, we are going to move away from the general concepts of how to do Internet Marketing and we are going to get inside of your head instead.

So, what do YOU think about the concept of making money online? Do you really think it is possible?

Unfortunately, this concept has been abused by many people on the web today and it is one of the main reasons that affiliate marketing has been given a bad rap for many years. It has been so heavily abused in fact, that there are many writing online communities out there that ban the topic altogether.

You have probably seen a couple of headlines like this in the past:

For reasons that I can’t even fathom, there are many people out there that have the belief that making money online is the easiest thing in the world to do when that is as far from the truth as possible. Many people really believe that there is some kind of formula or magic trick out there that can generate them thousands of dollars on autopilot…if only they could find it. By confirming these beliefs, many online scammers out there take advantage of innocent people every day, scamming them out of hundreds or thousands of dollars just so they can make a quick buck.

Does this sound all too familiar?

I’m sorry to break this to you, but there is no magic trick or secret formula to making money online.

If you are the type of person who is looking to make easy money, you certainly won’t find it online.

In order to make money online, you are going to have to put in some work just like any other Internet marketer out there and just like any other industry that exists on the planet.

 

But Wait! Don’t Leave Just Yet!

 

By making money online, you will become your own boss, so you can do whatever you please throughout the day, as long as you continue to work. You can begin working at any time of the day that you want and work for as long as you want to. If you feel like taking a week off, then go for it! It won’t really matter because you are going to be the one that calls the shots in the end.

However, you have to realize that you are going to have to put in the work eventually.

Also, keep in mind that it is going to be kind of tough to learn how to do all of the things that you will need to do to run a successful online business as we discussed in the last lesson, but not impossible. Remember, you are going to have to learn:

• How To Do Keyword Research
• How To Customize Your Website
• How To Build An Online Audience
• How To Create Engaging Articles
• How To Market On Social Networks The Right Way
• How To Use Email Marketing To Your Advantage
• And Much More!

 

So, the first thing that you are going to have to do is get the idea of making easy money out of your head right now!

Let’s take another reality check for a second…

 

How long is it really going to take you to run a full-time online business that is profitable, so you can quit for day job?

In order to answer this question, we are going to have to look at some variables. Because of this, I cannot give you a clear answer to this question. Honestly, I was homeless when I began running my online business. I kind of had no choice but to make it work for me. I put in a lot of hours, lost a lot of sleep and managed to make the money I had to in about a months’ time. I know other people from Wealthy Affiliate with similar stories and I know other people from Wealthy Affiliate that were able to accomplish this goal in a year’s time.

Amazing things have been known to happen and your own success story will be just as unique

However, there are three primary things that I can tell you right now. These things will help you to increase the amount of time it will take for you to reach your own success and help you to achieve whatever financial goals that you may have:

1. Take Action Right Now!

I know that this is becoming repetitive but it is nonetheless true. Reading about the different ways that you can make money online and thinking about the kind of money you can make will not help you to make money one bit. Period!

2. Ask Plenty of Questions

The one thing that you are going to have to deal with is the fact that you may think everybody out there knows much more than you when it comes to Internet Marketing. However, we all started as noobies before…even me. When I first started online I had no clue how to build a website, what affiliate marketing even was or even what Paypal was. I was the ultimate definition of a Noob. But you can also ask any member of Wealthy Affiliate and they will tell you the same thing. At Wealthy Affiliate, nobody will make you feel stupid.

Always ask as many questions as you have and never feel that one of your questions may be a dumb one because there is no such thing. You can also ask me anything. I am here to help you succeed.

3. Have The Courage To Believe In Yourself

Have you ever heard the saying, “those who fail in their endeavors are the people who quit too early?” I absolutely love that saying and it is one that you should repeat as often as necessary during your journey.

Even when you feel like quitting, don’t! Even if you feel overwhelmed by all of the information that you acquire, keep pushing through! One day you will have your ah-ha moment. The truth of the matter is that you never know when your own success story is just around the corner. You never know, you may end up finding that perfect keyword that makes you a ton of cash by next month!

If you quit, you will only fail. Failing means that you will fall back into your current position and never succeed in the future.

 

Never Stop Believing In Yourself and Never Allow Yourself To Quit!

Before we end this lesson for this today, let’s continue on the topic of online scams. I want to address any and all concerns that you may have about Wealthy Affiliate.

I know that you may be feeling skeptical about Wealthy Affiliate in general. You have probably fallen prey to many scams out there and have probably been scammed out a lot of money. I have no doubt that any of these scams turned out to let you down, only to leave you a couple of bucks poorer and no richer than you were when you started.

Maybe you even didn’t sign up for Wealthy Affiliate during the first day of this course because you were afraid of being scammed again.

I want to remind you that you don’t have to pay for Wealthy Affiliate. You will never be asked to provide a credit card in order to sign up, be asked for money to build your own website or to ask for help from any Wealthy Affiliate members such as myself. Most of the training material offered at Wealthy Affiliate is 100% free….no bullshit. You don’t need a credit card or any other kind of payment information….EVER! Think of this community as something similar to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. All you need is to set up a username, a password and fill out a basic profile in order to get started.

Again, WEALTHY AFFILIATE IS NOT A SCAM!

If it was a scam, I wouldn’t have been a member for this long, nor would I have made as much money as I have so far. This community will not fill your head with empty promises or “guarantees” that you will make fast cash. Think of this community as an online training resource and support community where you can find all of the information you need in order to be successful online.

Signing up for the free membership with Wealthy Affiliate was the turning point for me. It helped me to get off of the streets and get to the point where I am able to provide for my 6 year old son, dogs and myself without having to do the traditional 9 to 5 grind. It has given me my life back and allowed me to do exactly what I love to do for a living.

But just don’t take it from me. Ask any other member of WA and they will tell you the same thing.

 

I hope that in the future Wealthy Affiliate will do the same for you.

The first lesson in this course will give you a basic Intro to Wealthy Affiliate and will ask you to complete your Wealthy Affiliate profile. This is a relatively easy task and shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes to do.

If you have enough time don’t hesitate to jump into the second lesson of the course. That lesson is dedicated to teaching you how you can make money online with affiliate marketing and can help you to begin preparing a few goals for yourself.

2. Read A Couple of Blog Posts Within Wealthy Affiliate

You will want to check out some of the blogs from other members within the Wealthy Affiliate community. See what people are giving advice, who are asking questions or who is talking freely about their everyday lives. Also, feel free to check out the most recent success stories on Wealthy Affiliate. That will give you more of an idea of how WA can help you to become successful in the future.

3. Use The Live Chat

Next, I want you to ask a question within the live chat in Wealthy Affiliate. Ask any kind of question that may be on your mind or feel free to introduce yourself to other members of the community. Just see what is happening and join right in. Everybody within Wealthy Affiliate is very friendly and is willing to talk about pretty much anything.
