Who am I and why should you even care?

Well, for starters, my name is Vic and I am nobody special. I’m your average hard worker. Father of one, obsessed with my dogs. Happily living with my wife.

Ya know…same old, same old.

The only difference is what I do for a living.

You see, I am a successful online marketer and entrepreneur and have been since 2013. I have been doing EXACTLY what I love for years and honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the life of me. Of course, there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears lost to get to this point but hell, it was well worth it.

I wasn’t always this successful. Just a year prior to the start of my online journey, I was homeless and pregnant. When I say I was at ROCK BOTTOM, I meant it. There was literally no further down I could go. Back then I was living in and out of my car until that got repoed. Then I was living in and out of hotels until I ran out of money.

Just when everything looked bleak and I had nowhere else to turn, luck began to turn in my favor.

The one and only possession left to me (other than my dogs) was an old laptop I somehow didn’t end up selling. In desperation, I began looking up ways that I could make money. Lo and behold: my eyes were opened to the thrill that was Internet marketing. Of course, my first few ventures into the online money space were nothing but scams. I spent money I didn’t have or borrowed money just to fall for so many get rich quick schemes.

Just when I had begun to give up, I came across another online opportunity, one that changed my life forever: Wealthy Affiliate.

Now, I’m not going to sell you on Wealthy Affiliate and tell you all about it (you can read that for yourself by checking out my Wealthy Affiliate review here). Instead what I will tell you is HOW it changed my life.

Wealthy Affiliate taught me EVERYTHING I needed to know about marketing online, from the importance of SEO, building websites, getting traffic and even using pay-per-click advertising. You see, with this knowledge, Wealthy Affiliate gave me the tools and training I needed to land a job as a junior marketer. From there, I began offering my expertise online, taking on freelance contracts whenever I had time. It gave me the stability I needed to get myself off the streets and finally get to a place where I would NEVER end up on the streets again.

Then Wealthy Affiliate gave me the courage I needed to try and start my own online business. The first few months of paying for my Wealthy Affiliate membership and working 1 full time job and freelancing in my spare time, I somehow found the energy to begin my own online marketing business. After a few months, I was able to drop my 9 to 5 (hence the name of this site) and work full-time from home. 1 year after joining Wealthy Affiliate, I was able to live in my own apartment again. 1 year and 3 months in, I was finally able to buy a car again. 2 years in, I had more than $50K in savings.

Over a decade in and honestly, all of the energy and lost sleep was worth it.

Now, I can safely say I don’t think I will ever be homeless again…thanks to Wealthy Affiliate. I now have the consistent income I need to pursue every little thing I want, no matter how ridiculous it is. I am able to work from home without the worry about commuting to work. I am able to give my son and myself the life we deserve.

So, what does this have to do with you?

It is because I want to help give you the same.
