What is Arise Work From Home?

Arise Work From Home is essentially a customer service program that allows business owners to offer work from home support to a variety of well-known companies such as Intuit, eBay, Comcast, etc. Arise offers training classes for a small fee to work with many of these organizations.

Once apart of Arise Network, you are not an employee. Instead, you are considered a client with a working relationship with Arise.

• Must own your own LLC to work with a partner company
• The fees for training classes can vary from $47 to as high as $300

How Does Arise Work?

In order to start working with Arise Work from Home, there are a few essential things you will need to do.

Apply for a Basic Skills Assessment.

This assessment is pretty basic and covers basic concepts such as reading comprehension, understanding, and basic math.

Own Your Own Incorporated Business

Arise Work From Home doesn’t hire subcontractors to work with their clients. Instead, it only works with incorporated businesses or LLC’s. How to do so will differ on a state by state basis. In my case, I had to go to my state website, hire an outside company to form an LLC for me, and pay up to $400 in fees to do so. By the end, not only did I have an officially registered LLC business, but I had a business tax ID and associated business bank account as well.

Obtain a Home Office Set Up

Once your business has been officially registered with your state and you are a full-fledged business member with Arise Work From Home, the next step is to set up your own home office. Since you are going to be working primarily as a customer support representative for these companies, you will need:

• A working computer, preferably with a dual monitor setup
• House phone connected only via landline
• Webcam
• Stable/fast Internet connection
• Phone headset

The amount for this setup will range depending on what you get. It can range in price from $50 to $300.

Sign Up and Pay for Your Training Classes

Once you are sure you have everything you need to be successful on Arise, the next step is going to be to look at their partner page on their dashboard and pick a company you would like to work with.

Keep in mind to look at the prices of the classes to work with the class that meets your budgetary needs. These classes will range from $47 to $300 depending on the company. Training can also range in time from a week to a few weeks.

 

How Much Money Can You Make from Arise Work From Home?

To be honest, this depends on which customer you work with and above all WHEN you work with them.

Typically most people report earning between $10 to $14 an hour with most companies.

However, during tax season, you can expect to earn anywhere between $16 to $20 if you work with a company geared towards taxes.

While you can make a decent income from Arise, you will need to factor in monthly business costs and take out about 30% of your money just to pay off taxes. With that said, this may or may not be the best opportunity for some people.

Far from it in fact!

However, most people think it is because of all of the costs involved and their strict guidelines for working with them. Arise is always straightforward about their requirements. Do that, and you can in fact earn a living from working from them.

 

My Final Opinion

Look, as someone who has personally paid to own my own LLC just to work with Arise Work From Home and who has worked with them, specifically with eBay, for years, I can’t recommend this program enough, especially for those who are looking for a legitimate work from home opportunity.

However, for those who are on a strict budget or don’t have the money to invest in setting up their own business or start-up costs, this may not be the best opportunity for them. 

You need to treat Arise Work From Home as you would any other business: one that requires an initial investment with a low return of investment for at least a year. However, if you stick with it and work hard, you can make it into a legitimate and lucrative work from home opportunity.
